Project secured with Morgan Sindall

JP Dunn Construction Ltd are pleased to announce that we have secured a project with Morgan Sindall which is a new 32 flat, eight story project, in conjunction with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

JP Dunn works will include the Enabling, Groundworks, RC Frame, PCC Stairs, Drainage and Hard Landscaping for the North Kensington site on Acklam Road. The eight-story project will require JP Dunn to work within several project constraints such as limited delivery and working windows, as well as site constraints including close proximity to surrounding residential properties, the A40 trunk road and Tube and Rail networks.

Key features include a reinforced in-situ concrete frame using Twinwall pre-cast concrete walls for the lift and stair cores. Other features include pre-cast concrete stairs and below ground waterproofing. Underground surface and foul drainage will be included in the scope of works including connection to established drainage systems. Hard Landscaping for the project includes tree pits and root protection, kerbs, edgings, drainage and external street furniture.

Works commence on site in September.
